- WHY DID YOU CHOOSE PYLEWELL?
Besides choosing Pylewell because we fell in love with the beauty of the venue, a large reason why we chose Pylewell was because it was one of the few venues that didn’t have a huge list of rules. We really wanted to be able to shape our wedding to be the way we wanted it, rather than have lists of can-do’s and cannot-dos. We also chose Pylewell because it was a whole wedding weekend venue which meant we could accommodate our travelling bridal party and family together on site. The whole team just seemed so lovely and helpful too, so that was a large part of the decision.

- TELL US ABOUT YOUR MOST MEMORABLE PART OF YOUR WEDDING DAY?
Our ceremony on the Saturday was a hugely memorable part of our weekend. We chose to get married down by the black gates, which does create a rather lengthy aisle, but it added some dramatic effect to our bridal party entrance. The weather held and it was so beautiful to be able to take our time entering into the ceremony.
- TELL US YOUR VISION FOR THE MARQUEE AND STYLING? DID IT LIVE UP TO YOUR EXPECTATIONS?
Our vision was to have sage / beige / light pink and white throughout the pavilion. We used some paper bunting and fairy lights across the room, plus, of course, the statement hanging floral arrangements which hung from the chandeliers, alongside soft coloured silk ribbon. We matched the flowers with matching candles and light green napkins on the tables too. The room looked absolutely gorgeous, elegant and simple.
- HAVE YOU GOT ANY FEEDBACK ABOUT THE PYLEWELL TEAM? WE WOULD SO LOVE TO HEAR IT.
The Pylewell team are all so lovely, kind, helpful and passionate about what they do. We needed a guitar on the Friday, and low and behold, Aby sourced us a guitar. The groom forgot to pick up some flowers for the Friday evening, and low and behold, the Pylewell team had some from the previous wedding (that were stunning) and we used some of those. We really wanted to get married outside but weren’t sure on the weather, but Alex and the team gave us as much time as possible to watch the radars and make a decision (and we did get married outside in the end, thanks Alex). We couldn’t speak any more highly of the team, they were all such an asset to Pylewell and make our weekend so unforgettable. Mike was also super accommodating after the wedding, bringing up drinks and ice for us to have a little after party in the penthouse.
- WHAT’S YOUR TOP TIP FOR ANY FUTURE PYLEWELL COUPLE?
Lean into the Pylewell events team, they really know their stuff and their recommended supplier list is just SO useful. We used multiple suppliers and they were all faultless.
