Why did you choose Pylewell?
From our first emails with the Pylewell team, we had ‘that feeling’ that this was the place for us! The team were so genuinely excited for us (we lost track of how many times we told our engagement story during our first visit!) and were already sharing advice and tips for our day before we’d booked the venue! We felt so confident in Aby and the team that we would be well looked after throughout the planning process and during our wedding weekend – and after viewing the stunning house, grounds and pavilion, it truly was a no-brainer that this was where we wanted to say ‘I do!’
Tell about the most memorable part of your wedding day
Seeing the vision of our day fully come to life as we made our entrance into our wedding breakfast! Our wonderful suppliers had made our styling dreams come true, and the pavilion looked even better than we could have imagined. Walking in to one of our favourite songs to the napkin-swirling smiles of all of our family and friends is a memory that we’ll treasure forever.
Tell us your vision for the marquee and styling and did it live up to your expectations?
We love hosting our friends and family at home, and wanted to reflect this in our set-up for the pavilion – think banquet-style tables, sharing starters and help-yourself dessert stations. We also wanted HEAPS of colour and to incorporate Gracie’s favourite flowers… we’ve never seen such beautiful peonies and hydrangeas!
We were blown away by the finished product and can’t thank our suppliers enough for taking our brief and creating a summer’s day dream!
Have you got any feedback about the Pylewell team?
We could talk about how fabulous the Pylewell team is all day long! There was no question that couldn’t be answered and no request that couldn’t be made to happen (when we asked for a beer pong table, it was sorted within half an hour!). Our guests were made so welcome by the wonderful house team, and Aby was an absolute superstar through and through – our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without her expertise!
What’s your top tip for a future Pylewell couple?
Book the venue! With the Pylewell team and their little black book of suppliers, your wedding will be spectacular. We loved every moment of our weekend!
