Celebrate with your nearest and dearest and take over our house for the day – or two! Intimate house weddings are available for 10-58 guests – think lavish country house party for a more intimate crowd.
Say I do in our beautiful hall or head out to our house gardens with sea views. With three local churches near by, you have so many ceremony options here at Pylewell and off site. Host drinks and canapes in our editorial dining room or outside on the house gardens lawn. Our drawing room is the perfect spot for your wedding breakfast, speeches, and cake cutting. Make use of the dining room, hallway or drawing room itself for live music and dancing.

The venue is complete exclusive use and you will find a medley of gorgeous rooms filled with history, charm and beautiful backdrops for you and your guests. The house sleeps 26 guests, and you have the option to take the cottage at the end of the drive that sleeps an additional 10 guests. Stay for a night – or two if you wish to make a long weekend out of celebrations.

Smaller intimate house weddings can be more budget friendly – allowing you to get married at the venue of your dreams since you will be paying for a smaller number of guests per head for the wedding breakfast. This also means that you can spread your overall budget out and indulge in what means the most to you. Whether that be having a mega swanky wedding breakfast menu, filling the entire room with tons and tons of florals, or providing your guests with utterly fabulous entertainment – there are so many options and ways to have one incredible celebration.
- MEANINGFUL – Don’t get us wrong, we love a giant party of all of your friends and family celebrating in one place. However, small intimate house weddings allow you as a couple to be with your nearest and dearest – and actually have time for those intimate meaningful conversations on your wedding day without being whisked away to the next bunch of guests wanting to say hello, congrats and snapping photos! Swap out those rushed encounters for hugs, long chats and that overwhelming feeling of love from every angle from your favourite people all being in one room celebrating you.
- DETAILS – An intimate wedding allows you to have more time to think about the finer details to your day, ensuring that every aspect of the day has the stamp of your personality all over it. From personalised favours for each guest, to hand made wedding invites and menus, or live illustrations from a painter on the day for each guest to take away, you can add your stamp to everything to make every little detail utterly perfect. We love dramatically dressed champagne towers in the hallway, corridors full of florals, and the magical feeling of the house full of Christmas trees, roaring fires and personalised Christmas favours on the tables.
