- WHY DID YOU CHOOSE PYLEWELL?
We both wanted a big country house with beautiful grounds that we could make our own for our wedding day, and we were struggling to find anywhere. Everywhere we looked, we just felt like a number, just another wedding at the weekend. Until we found Pylewell Park…a close family member who had links to Pylewell showed us their website, and we both just instantly loved it. We immediately booked in a viewing and I got emotional even just looking around the house and grounds – it was everything we were looking for and more. We booked then and there! We felt connected to Mel and the team, not a number, but a friend and they wanted to make our wedding vision come true. Whats more, you get the house from the Friday to the Sunday – even better!
A moment I’ll never forget
- TELL US ABOUT YOUR MOST MEMORABLE PART OF YOUR WEDDING DAY?
Everyone tells you how it will be the best day of your life, and it really really is. We cannot just choose one memory! If I had to choose, it would be just taking 10 minutes of alone time together, walking around the grounds and looking back at the house and all your guests enjoying the Champagne drinks reception you have been planning for 2 years! Seeing friends and family who have never met talking and chatting away, it’s the best feeling ever. Also, of course, Will’s speech, he just blew me away with his kind and loving words, it’s a moment I will never forget.
- TELL US YOUR VISION FOR THE MARQUEE AND STYLING? DID IT LIVE UP TO YOUR EXPECTATIONS?
YES! We used Nudo floristry and styling and couldn’t recommend them more. We had a vision on colours and how we wanted the table to look. They worked so closely with our caterers to live up to our dreams. We also had a vision of round tables rather than long tables, and Pylewell were so accommodating with this – nothing was a problem. Nudo said to us that they wanted us to wait to see the marquee until they had finished setting all the tables and flowers up, at first this made us nervous but when we did have the ‘first look’ on the wedding day it just blew us away, and we were so thankful we waited to see it all set up, just like our guests would.
- HAVE YOU GOT ANY FEEDBACK ABOUT THE PYLEWELL TEAM? WE WOULD SO LOVE TO HEAR IT.
You are all absolutely AMAZING. You just make it. From the day we met you, you couldn’t have done more for us. I would say that we were fairly organised with wedding planning, but you were constantly checking in and asking if you could do anything, nothing was too much for you. You also helped us consider ideas we had not thought of, and calmed us down during moments of stress! Your recommended supplier list was a godsend, we couldn’t have had the wedding day we did, without all of the wonderful suppliers and we would have not found them without you.
From morning to night, there was always someone from the team on hand to help and ensure things run smoothly – you do not have to think about a thing on the wedding day. You guys are brilliant!

BOOK NOW!! If you have made it this far to the website, and to read all of these posts, you must be keen, so just book and you will not regret it! If you have already booked, and looking for inspiration, make sure you look at Pylewell’s recommended supplier list and stick to it! All of the suppliers have worked at Pylewell before and also together before. On the wedding day, all of our suppliers were working together like friends and it was so amazing to see, it all went like clockwork!
