Our top tips for choosing a photographer:
Spend time together to think about what you want out of your photographs – do you want classical, beautiful images that you can pop around your home or do you want mega stylish, detail heavy shots to show off your day on the gram? All photographers have their own style to suit different priorities for photography.

Check out the photographers Instagram and website galleries – having a clear idea of what the finished product is going to look like will help you imagine your own photos.
Book an engagement shoot – this gives you stacks of time to work directly with a photographer (or two!) to get to know them, their approach and see if your personalities align to make you more comfortable on the wedding day. You will of course also capture some beautiful photos out of this too which is a massive bonus!

We totally understand how important imagery is, so once you have a chosen a photographer, we highly recommend coming to Pylewell for one of your site visits to check out the various spaces for photo opportunities ahead of the day. Working with a photographer who has already been to Pylewell eliminates all of the stress of having to choose spots for photos on the day as they will know all the best places to go.
