- WHY DID YOU CHOOSE PYLEWELL?
Although I work here- I truly believe it’s the most fabulous wedding venue and can be made so bespoke and personal. It felt so special to celebrate here ourselves after launching it as a venue 5 years ago and helping so many couples celebrate their big day! We couldn’t not celebrate at Pylewell, but we actually got married the day before in a local Church and had an intimate dinner with close family and friends. We then came to Pylewell the next day for an enormous party with all our family and friends.
- TELL US ABOUT YOUR MOST MEMORABLE PART OF YOUR DAY?
Turning up outside the house and seeing it just looked utterly beautiful, there was a huge floral installation on the front door and a giant tree in the hallway, we walked into the drawing room to it being packed with family and friends, it was just wonderful! We had drinks and canapés in the house and cut the cake in there. We then headed over to the pavilion for dinner, dancing and lots of drinks!
- TELL US YOUR VISION FOR THE MARQUEE AND STYLING? DID IT LIVE UP TO YOUR EXPECTATIONS?
Honestly, I had no idea what it was going to look like! We get so involved in our couple’s big days, so I actually just told our suppliers our budget – and let them get on with it! I fully trusted our amazing team, and Nudo delivered beyond anything I could have imagined. What sets them apart is the way they get to know their couples, and add this incredibly personal element to everything they create. From adding feathers to the place setting and bespoke canapé trays made out of gun cartridges as a nod to my husband’s love of countryside pursuits- to a beautiful cake with hand-drawn illustrations of all our favourite things- their attention to detail is next level.

They dressed the tables to utter perfection with beautiful linen, plates, crockery and huge floating floral displays over the tables to create a full winter wonderland effect. There were masses of candles and lanterns, and it was just jaw-dropping walking in! Our suppliers, Red Herring Catering, Nudo Blooms, Penelope Margot stationary, Anna Bridal, Tara Sanger MUA, Riot Hair and Fully Funktional, were the dream team!

Our team are truly wonderful and go above and beyond for all our couples. From our suppliers, caterers and Pylewell team- they pulled out all the stops for myself and Mark- we felt very spoilt!

You are in the safest of hands, our team are fabulous and will look after you from start to finish.
